ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated person to work for Narang Bir-rong Aboriginal Corporation (Narang Bir-rong). Narang Bir-rong provides Family Support Services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Families in Western Sydney, Nepean Blue Mountains, Northern Sydney/Eastern Sydney/Sydney and connected communities as well as Out of Home Care placements for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people who cannot remain at home due to abuse and/or neglect.
The role is full-time (35hrs) and is based at our Penrith Office.
Tasks & responsibilities
This role is the first point of contact for clients and stakeholders of the organisation and as such needs someone who shares our values of wanting to provide a high quality service to the Aboriginal community. You will need have a happy and enthusiastic outlook to the position. The purpose of the position is to provide the organisation with day to day administration duties and to be proactive in providing the program area teams with support.
NBAC PAY SCALES (ABOVE AWARD WAGE)
Total Package Value $74,345.60 - $82,178.98 (value is dependent on qualifications and experience. The total package value includes leave loading and Superannuation)

Qualifications & experience
Aboriginality, is a genuine qualification under the Anti Discrimination Act.
Evidence of at least two COVID-19 Vaccinations.
Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) & National Police Check for employment purposes.
Current NSW Drivers Licence
Qualifications or experience in the area of administration area.
Proficient in Microsoft office programs.
Mature outlook and well-developed communication skills.
High level of oral and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work autonomously, employ initiative to find solutions, prioritise and exercise discretion.
Excellent organisational, time management and administration skills
Ability to liaise at an executive level and work under pressure.
