Our objectives include offering employment-ready training programs and job opportunities for local Yinhawangka people, as well as actively supporting Indigenous-led initiatives that address socio-economic needs and aspirations within their communities.

In support of this growth, TIAD Enterprises are currently seeking Expressions of Interests for Indigenous Trainees (Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders) ready to kickstart their careers. Trainees will gain a valuable qualification to get a head start in the mining industry.

Traineeship Courses that we will be offering:

  • Cert II in Civil Construction 

  • Cert II Construction Pathways 

  • Cert II Automotive Servicing Technology 

  • Cert II Workplace Skills

  • Cert III Business (Administration)

  • Cert IV Business (Administration) 

Depending on the trainee, upon conclusion of the traineeship- if a role at TIAD is available they may receive a job offer or an apprenticeship offer.

Trainees will be expected to:

  • Attend necessary block training throughout the course 

  • Monitor their progress and training plan to ensure they are meeting deadlines

  • Work and effectively communicate with a TIAD Enterprises mentor throughout their traineeship.

 Pay Rate & Roster 

  • Must Be Living In WA 

  • Paid Fortnightly 

  • Full Time Hours / Fixed Term 12-month Contract

  • Roster TBA

  • Trade Assistant pay rate - $45 pending experience

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must have Current & Valid C Class (Manual) Driver's License as a minimum

  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing

  • A drive for continuous improvement 

  • Strong approach to SAFETY

  • A desire to further your career.
